Clim4Vitis main objective will be achieved through the following specific objectives

1. Transfer knowledge and implement capacity building for the enhancement of S&T capacity

Clim4Vitis has a clear focus on the transfer of skills and knowledge in the topic related with the development of the climate change impacts on viticulture. Given the different existing approaches for modelling grapevines, as well as pests and diseases in vineyards, the project will create a unified approach though knowledge sharing among partners. The related activities will also benefit the S&T capacity building of other Clim4Vitis research partners.

2. Lay the foundations of Clim4Vitis´ long-term sustainability

UTAD´s R&D, and innovation capacities and skills will be complemented by the opportunities created by Clim4Vitis to establish fruitful and long-term collaborations with high performing R&D organisations focused on the same research topics, through which UTAD also aims to optimise the technology and knowledge transfer potential of the project.
